About the Creative Caboose
The Creative Caboose is a showcase for local arts and crafts, a stop of interest for tourists just passing through, and a welcoming gathering place for locals. It is a cozy shop built out of a real caboose. Have you ever wanted to see where those train workers slept, or how they kept warm in the winter? Pop in and satisfy your curiosity.
Location
Seton Portage is built on the rocky portage between Anderson and Seton Lakes in BC's southern interior. We can be reached from either Lillooet or Pemberton, our two nearest centres.
The caboose itself is located in Seton Portage Historic Provincial Park, perhaps one of the tiniest provincial parks in BC. The caboose was a tourist info centre in the 1970s, and still belongs to the Seton Portage Chamber of Commerce.
